Substantial investment by ROLF SCS has realized a brand new 26,000 sqm purpose-built parts distribution warehouse which became fully operational in 2008. This grade A facility provides a multi-client operation with up to 35,000 available pallet positions and custom designed mezzanine for storage of small parts, capable of securely storing the whole range of automotive components — from the smallest bulb to the largest body panel or sub-assembly. A climate-controlled environment with a clearance of 12 meters, floor loading capacity of 6 tonnes per sqm and 28 loading docks provides our customers with a first class facility capable of supporting the most exacting of requirements — 24 hours every day, 7 days each week – and with both physical and state-of-the-art electronic security, providing reassurances that the activities can efficiently continue without hindrance. Each item is appropriately protected to the highest quality standards — in line with pre-agreed and fully-documented customer requirements.

ROLF SCS has started its program of regional development. Early in 2009 we opened our distribution hub in St. Petersburg that will enable us to give better services to our customers by reducing transit time and managing logistics costs.

More regional hubs are planned to be opened in Yekaterinburg, Samara, Siberian and the Southern region.

During the storage process we can provide our customers with a complete inventory control service with online access if required. In addition to the provision of documentation, financial records and stock analysis we are fully prepared to label, package, consolidate and ultimately fulfill the requirements of every outbound order.

Receipt of goods automatically updates the online Warehouse Management System (WMS) and our Track & Trace System giving clients complete inventory control and visibility of all subsequent activities. Stock items are picked, packed and protected to client instructions on a scheduled basis using the WMS before being dispatched to the end customer — usually a dealership centre — via a network of regional cross-docking sites.
